Tatiana & James

Every day in Philadelphia, many couples fill the halls on the fourth floor of City Hall to as they say “take the plunge.” The dozens of eagerly nervous citizens make it about the most happy place one can find in a courthouse. For Tatiana and James, this was always where they wanted to get married.

When they first met, James was a student intern at City Hall, and has now spent the first four years of his career there. Tatiana worked in City Hall at one time as well. Many of the lasting friendships they have made in Philadelphia began there. The time before their ceremony was spent wandering its halls and seeing old faces.

The actual wedding, was meant to be simply performed by the Judge James works for, and witnessed by one close friend. But as the news spread through City Hall practically every seat in courtroom 432 was full. For this rare occasion, the room was clad with flowers, and office interns served as ushers.

After hugs and well wishes to the couple, they took to the streets around City Hall for elegant portraits and drinks at Darling Jacks. Their special day was completed with celebratory cigars and a breathtaking view of their beloved city.
